No sooner had I told my daughter she could keep a lamb she had named Bobby, then this popped up on my YouTube. They are listening, but only for trivial stuff, maybe ?
The lamb should be sold really as it is a castrated male and has no use on the farm, but she has grown close to it, and took it for walks ect. It was the first " pet " ( oh, the irony ) lamb of the season and had a large bulge under its stomach. I didnt think it would live and was surprised when the swelling was not a rupture and gradually disappeared. She is also keeping another pet lamb to put to the tup and have its own lambs next year...
Sounds cute. :)
