A stormy forecast over Christmas this year

 Its been a very windy stormy night. An uneasy night with the wind roaring in the tree tops and sounding like the sea. Ive listened to this roar all my life at this time of year. Its a roar of natural energy or rather rage as nature and the sun hit rock bottom. And I follow closely being tired and usually ailing a cold and a slowed metabolism with reduced appetite. This is not like me at all normally. Bring on the tipping point in January when that wind symbolizes the uphill climb to spring ,or hints of it. 

There's nothing more boring than other peoples dreams, but....

 Well it says " lucid dreaming " may increase as a side effect of this medication I'm taking, and boy is this the case. Im dreaming several times a night, every night. There is no set plot to these dreams other than they are often quite complex as in a scene from a movie. Events and my interaction with people in them are rapid and  my actions quickly twist the story. Often I find I am in a group of people in peril. Thankfully these scenes are not violent. My mind flows like a river all night. Deep inside the chemicals are " grooming " my mind, both in my waking and sleeping hours. 

Worryingly when I awake in the morning I have to sift through the nights happening to sort out what is real. I dreamt I had offended someone I know last week and they called the police to arrange my arrest. I had to speak to this person the next day and even when I set eyes on them I felt awkward... until I forced myself to recall it had just been a dream. In my mind somewhere It still feels like it happened. How quickly could reality breakdown here ?

I was drowning and clambered aboard a boat. Where is this boat taking me now ? Back home to where I fell in ? Hell,no. That place no longer exists.

This quote from Wuthering Heights has been running through may head for days now.  I keep spouting it out at random times during the day. Its delicious and cutting and deflates idealism. It was triggered by a mans glowing praise of his wifes characteristics online. Cringe worthy it was too. As I knew him I resisted the urge to comment. 

Maybe, just maybe....

Its true that algorithms predict many of our future actions, and purchases from what weve done in the past, or watched or even said verbally. Now that would have shocked many, but no longer today. Stranger still or more disturbing still are hints online about things we only thought about, and sometimes these are so sublime that even the all powerful algorithm seems unlikely to have predicted this. There seems to be a sum of more than all its parts, the internet. Anyway if you said your conversations were being listened to when near your phone or laptop you would have laughed until recently.

One day some one will write a book on internet spirituality or internet occult worlds, and then all may become clear, but for the meanwhile we shall have to call it " superstition " until we are enlightened !

A time to take stock, again.

Yes, its that time of year again, though this year the landscape is still very green after all the rain, and the late Summer heatwave. Things are cooler now though, and today there is a chill in the air. Its getting dark by 8pm and i'm wondering what to do with the evenings. I think i'm going to buy a book. Something by Robert Louis Stephenson, as I enjoyed a collection of his short stories years ago. There is only so much You Tube I can watch.

Planning to visit this Welsh folly today. I was my daughters age when I first visited it, and I  found the village of Portmerion very unsettling, and claustrophobic. It was only years later that I got around to watching the 60's tv series, and was very surprised by how intense and dark it was. The theme of a constant psychological battle really strikes a cord. As someone says in the comments its a model for a " 15 minute city "that we have here...

Crooked House: Fire At ‘Wonkiest’ Pub Being Treated As Arson

This kind of thing makes me really angry. A unique tourist attraction mysteriously burns down whilst access roads were blocked with dumped soil to hinder the fire services. The remains are then quickly demolished. Someone did this clearly on purpose and now a  popular landmark is lost forever. A folly, something fun and different snuffed out, probably for financial gain. You can feel the type of persons attitude who has done this. The arrogance and dis-reguard  for history and local people. What a way to lose this pub.

 

I guess this reminds me of the pond of my childhood thats now been filled in next door. It contained a large clam shell that was very old. It was rumored a large fish lived in the garden pond and when the pond was drained it was found dead inside the shell. Every spring we would collect frog spawn and watch lots of frogs mating and spawning. It was a dark shady pool and I sometimes dream about it and in those dreams I fear how deep it maybe. Now its just grass and I cannot believe its been destroyed due to three different peoples actions. Its as though it never existed.

It does seem that any writing inspiration I once had came from a manic period of my life. Then it just stopped with when the dopamine stopped. Its like a well thats full one day and empty the next. Of course talent is no good without the urge. Its funny what actually triggers the urge to write. Yes, people who right are often living during a tortured period of their lives. I dont think these kind of conditions can be turned on and off. Maybe thats the curse.

I came across this advert the other night. Whats going on here ? Two women fussing over a little dog while a black guy looks on. Is he a boy friend ? They seem totally absorbed with the dog. Well we have all the ingredients that a modern advert demands. But wait, there is a fly in the ointment ! The advert is for a home security device. Suddenly the women being observed by the black guy as they fuss over their fluffy dog tells me that maybe this advert is subconsciously suggesting a fear of crime. Two women and a little dog suggests vulnerability. I burst out laughing when I realized this. I think this has been done on purpose, but in a very clever way that many may not even be aware of,but meanwhile deep in the mind...

An " interesting " ride out

 Well. I was warned... After discovering another cycle path a while ago I decided to check it out one evening when the rain finally stopped. The path was about a 4 mile round bike ride which was nice as it was all flat. I knew the path headed to Morecambe, and ended at an industrial estate. There is another path on the other side of Lancaster that is well known for trouble at night, so Im told. I was aware it would be an " interesting " area the other evening , but was not really ready for what I found.

The first thing that raised my eyebrows was a man chatting to his friend about having just got out of prison. Hmmmm. I then found myself cycling towards a homeless drunk with a bottle in his hand. He gave off a bad atmosphere and I sped up as I passed him. I then instantly came across a young girl who was going to have to approach him head on, so I stopped to look back to check she was ok, and sure enough he was checking her out over his shoulder.

Next I came across some young boys about 8 or 9 years old. They were running at full speed towards me and I soon discovered why. They had just set fire to dry grass on an abandoned railway embankment. I stopped a passer by rang rang the fire brigade.

Oh, I nearly forgot the two prostitutes on the corner of a housing estate, and the character in a playground inhaling something from a big balloon. And there was the youth who flew past me an on illegally souped up electric bike that meant he didnt have to pedal it. These paths are hot beds of crime as the police cant drive on them. Stabbings, muggings and rapes have taken place on them due to there isolation. But why should this be so ? Its a nice path to relax on. Its a sign of the times no doubt. Nothing seems safe anymore. Everything however mundane carries a risk.

There is a whole different world hiding around the corner. A lost land with children who dont stand a chance given their parents. The cycle ( no pun intended ) continues. Before I get too negative I did see something positive...

 On that evening I also passed a running event on a purpose made track that is part of a leisure center. Here was another breed of people. The polar opposite of those I had just seen. This fact was not lost on me. I guess it all depends on which side of the tracks your born on ?

 Why can't todays young people see the enemy isnt the general public who they see as lacking in WOKE attitudes, but all our governments who are literally going for 1984 as fast as they can ?

More annoying than this to shop workers is a person like me who is unwilling to use the self payment machine at the checkout. Ive spent my money and then they expect me to do the work of payment by card. Call me old fashioned but a bag would be nice and some service. Apparently its " popular " an attendant told me recently. In all areas of society personal interaction is on the wane, and automation and help lines are being deemed as what we all want ? The expression on the young womans face here is accurate...lol

Of course this new system is not entirely compulsory, but just like bypassing the touch screen order console in a fast food place you feel awkward as though you are jumping the que if you do not stand in line and walk past all those people queuing. Its the new normal. Its making me want to avoid some shop.

Imagine face recognition had been wide spread in shops during lockdown. It would have been really easy to exclude some from entering them. Face recognition at tills is spreading rapidly now.

 A weekend of terrible weather. Pouring rain, only 11 degrees which is the coldest ive known during the day time in June, never mind July. Oh, and a north wind occasionally howls around the window frames. It rains most days now, and to think I predicted drought. Meanwhile Europe bakes in record temperatures.

A new project

Im hoping to buy this bike tomorrow night. Its very unusual as its a BMW courtesy bike that I presume people have used when they leave their car at the dealership for work. Courtesy car are common of course, but ive never heard of a bike for that purpose. Its cheap too at only £150. Its a novelty and I want it.

The weather here is awful. Cool and wet and hardly a dry day. I need something to tinker around with at night, especially when it chucking it down. The jet stream has moved and is causing a heatwave in Europe but the rain is being all shoved our way. May and June were hot and dry though .

God help us. Were doomed.

 This country is doomed. Today I visited a large clothing chain. I asked at the check out if there was even one mirror in the whole store, because I couldnt find one. Maybe it was just me ? But no. The reply I got stunned me. " No, there arent any. Weve taken them all down for health and safety reasons. People kept walking into them and banging themselves, especially youngsters " Is this the level we are at ? People arent in a fit state to deal with the concept of a mirror ?

A relations wife who teaches swimming told me today that many children are just so dumb that they " parrot " back at her one word answers when she asks them a question. And they keep on doing this and cannot move on. She said they are in general almost retarded. If the next generation cant deal with the concept of a mirror without injuring themselves what does this say for the future ? I was genuinely shocked. Really.

A fallen gaint

 I happened to catch site yesterday of a man who caught a " mystery virus "  last winter. He has been paralyses for several months, but has now improved some what, and is rocking a mobility scooter. He has aged 15 years during this, understandably. 

I know his problem started with tingling in his hands and feet. Probably a circulation thing ? 

He was a very strong tall man.

I think a bigger picture must be forming in peoples minds as to whats going on with our entertainers and rulers. They are masking monsters and protecting them. For this reason our press, however down market must keep their right to point out these people, but without naming until the evidence is clear. Here we see " no evidence "really, other than the police having no appetite to dig, the abused young man having no appetite to press charges ( he has had £35,000 for the news reader ) and the presenter is in no fit state or has no desire to talk anymore about this. Digging these people out and exposing them only happens as a last resort because those in power are in the same club ? Committees investigating sex abuse in high places cannot get anyone to chair them. 

The news reader was one of my first guesses during the initial frenzied speculation period. 

Time to get out !

I have to admit that my head does not feel as good recently. Aches in my sinuses and prickling and a strange resonance when I experience certain sounds. Im more jumpy than I was, sounds such as someone turning a door handle to enter a room Im in, especially if my back is to the door. Last night the phone rang and I literally jolted in my seat. My nerves are more on edge again.

Sometimes I blame tea, sometimes Coke...sometimes being tired. I noticed this weekend at a busy car show, in a ware house full of noisy people that suddenly my ears jarred at the sound of my wife and daughters voice. I was obviously triggered. It stopped as soon as I went outside I noticed.

I wake up to slight palpitations as well again now. Strange how things fluctuate. You cant fool the mind. Feeling agitated I went for a cycle ride on my own down an urban cycle path that I always wanted to explore. 

I think this is going to be a long term thing for me. Its at a manageable level now though.

Its a slow walk, but does it ever end ?

Its especially aimed also at middle aged middle class couples whose children have flown the nest and now spend their time endlessly walking the countryside in an arrogant trance like state while playing the innocent that their dogs is a wild animal in the heat of the  moment, as are they.

Mostly Peaceful Nottingham Stabby-Man

Seems im not the only one who cackles manically at tragedy. He explains this reason for doing so better than I did. This nut case stabber was black, and I said  it would be so even before any cctv  footage appeared on the news. The police issue a stock arrest photo...wtf ? And of course the arm is white...lol Even a person filming the eventual arrest from a window obscured the mans face from the shot with some scaffolding on the building they were filming from. Now thats precision ! 

Nobody really cares. They hold vigils with candles and then forget.

 Its a sleepy wet warm summer afternoon. Im in a lazy mood. Ive had an all day breakfast at Morrisons and ive then driven home, fell asleep in my car and woken up for steak and chips.

 It happened before I could even stop myself... Once again someone was waving their arms about at me as I drove past. Often its accompanied by shouting and an indignant angry face. Last time this happened an instinct kicked in so quickly that I stopped my car and reversed back up to the couple who were complaining and gesturing me to slow down

" Now whats the problem " I said to them in a calm voice.

 " You were going a bit fast " They replied.

  To which I answered " I live here and I wont have a visitor telling me how fast I need to drive through the village " 

She replied equally calmly though a little surprised " Oh, alright then "

As I drove off I thought what a civilized exchange it was, and how it could have been so much more unpleasant. 

Whats surprising here is that I had backed up before I had even thought about the situation. I guess I was " triggered " as they say. Anyway I felt better after standing up for myself and not just driving on as usual.

Messing around with my daughter we made an " Avatar " using fb options. I chose to be black man wearing a skirt with green hair and a dog. Actually joking aside that exactly how they want you. Dont you find that strange ?

King for a day

We really need to give ourselves a pat on the back for getting through these past few years. Despite all the madness we are still here and have survived. We have by now been through many tribulations and are still standing with no serious aliments, yet.

I know there is a place where all fades away and nothing matters. Its a black place right in sight, inside of us and I never want to be caught there again. I was aware of it. I remember looking at the hills and feeling a terrible dread like life was a nightmare. I looked in a deep clear river and thought, yes I could understand now people who commit suicide if they felt like this long term. 

And now Im somewhere else this year and all because of medication. I always despised the idea of being in that position when I earlier looked at others who had traveled that road. Fuck it. Life has been hard and also life has given me so much.

I never liked this twee idea. After all how can we conquer our feelings ? Its not possible so this is really a pipe dream of optimism. But hold on... After my trouble and the affects of mind altering medication I am living in a different reality or rather a sweeter version of my old one. Either way when I was ill I was in a reality ive never experienced. 

Ive come to the conclusion that in the end the only savior seems to be a pharmaceutical one. Maybe Aldous Huxley was right ?

 Just now I let out a manic laugh. It wasnt in jest, it was a response to the awful news subjects I / we have been fed in the UK. This week saw 3 people stabbed and killed by a man in Nottingham. He than ran over another 2 men in a van, one of whom may not survive his injuries.

This was followed by a trail finishing of a couple tortured their child to death and drowned him in a bath tub. Two children have been murdered this week by a woman other than their mother. And to cap it all a double murderer  is scheduled for release, and his surname is Pitchfork- seriously ? 

This country is a failed state. Oh, I forgot the British girl shot in her back garden in a town in France as she played on a swing. The rest of the family were shot but survived. They were having a BBQ. Suffer the children. " There will be no rescue, your children will be crushed at the gates " Thats a line from the Bible and it really sums up whats happening right now.

Vigils are taking place Nottingham now, but they will solve nothing. Things will go back to normal. Of course the assailant was black. Usually they are an illegal asylum seeker form somewhere like Syria. From places we bombed on a feel good mission to improve the world. The man was also caught on CCTV trying to climb through a window to get into a hostel for vulnerable people. Thankfully someone heard him and punched him causing him to fall out backwards. What would have happened if he had made it inside ?

The news is so bleak its almost darkly comical. I mean are we meant to / can we deal with this onslaught with a calm straight face ? Mean while the sun is still shining and the world goes on.

Update - this morning a head of Police Standards has been charged with raping a child. Seriously ? Somethings terribly wrong and there is an element of overkill in each story, and its all routine.

What a man ?!

 I watched Trump leave court on the TV news and then call into a famous cafe. It was the best half hour of entertainment ive experienced for a while. To not bow to adversity, to use a bad situation for his own free publicity made me more than admire him. What man could pull that scene off ? What man can withstand the media onslaught and a federal court and still politically continue his simple message. No wonder people like him. The lovable rogue. 

Black Dub

I think were heading for a drought here in the UK. The hills are turning brown and its only June yet. This pool is the lowest ive ever seen it, as it should be a good meter higher, and again this is only the start of summer.

Its a very atmospheric place and usually is very still with a tense ancient feel to it. You cant spend long there before getting the feeling you should be moving on. Its name is the politically incorrect " Black Dub " though ive never heard anyone complain about, even now.

Legend has it that slaves were taken there to wash. It makes sense as there are layers of rock like steps that are worn down and there is slab that is ideal for entering the water gradually. I read somewhere recently that a female slave drowned there and it feels like it. When standing on the rock " platform " you get the strong feeling someone is stood behind you, especially at night. My daughter commented on that even before I told her.

All my life the pool has fascinated me and I dream about it frequently, usually about it drying up. The water is still and clear normally. The atmosphere has never changed and probably never will. 

What does my t-shirt mean ? I dont know. It was discounted in a budget clothing store. Hmmm....

This is going to end in trouble

 Ive only suggested up until now that I may be the cause of some objects moving when they should not, but this week I think it goes far further than that. In fact the force maybe very strong as two incidents that happened below show. I think I can rule out " coincidence " now. 

Incident one happened with some relations who ended up holidaying with us, and thats a contorted story on its own. Ive been involved in fitting a new door to my car  in the last few weeks, and its turned into something epic requiring two cousins who both struggled to help me fit it ( strip lights are cracking ) and it became a bit of a joke, me and my door or doors.

Anyway while on holiday I was in my cousins mini van ( thats an American phrase lol ) when I started to look at the door hinge of the passenger of the vehicle side where I sat. Noticing how strong the hinge mechanisms were and I told him how over engineered they looked. He then opened his door and exclaimed he couldnt believe what had just happened. His hinge had snapped. He immediately blamed me in jest and then after thinking a while, not as much in jest but rather in an annoyed way as what else could he think ? I mean coincidence just didnt seem to cut it.

Incident two happened this week. I was on a tractor moving some branches I had cut off to let more sun into our garden. I noticed my old car door propped up against a wall and it was in the way. I asked my wife to move it, but as I opened the tractor door and was halfway out there was a loud bang which jumped me. Again a hinge support had snapped at the exact moment I said the word " door ". That really rattled me as the force to snap the part was quite extreme. I just could not believe this had happened again.

What is the force limit here for telekinesis, intended or worse unintended ?

 95 % of what i drink now is bottled water. Ive developed a taste for it and the subtle taste now excites me in a satisfying way that the cordial Ribena used to. Why do I drink this anymore ? I ask my self this question, and its only that I remember drinking it while not well recently. I associate it with those dark times and part of me questioned whether it was to blame in my darkest hours. Im scared to start buying it again as I feel like a different person now a days to then. Now im getting tempted just thinking about it, but its high sugar content maybe was a bad thing. I dont know.

 Well Summer has arrived, sort of. This is our 3rd week of dry sunny weather. The ground is starting to crack already. The hills are starting to look very dry as well. Every day is wall to wall sunshine. Even though it is June the dry weather has the land looking less of a full on green of June and rather the appearance of the colour that is usual for the end of May. Its unsettling. The air is yet to soften, and the wind is coming from the east, and its chilly still in the shade, but hot in the direct sunlight.

I watched all this interview even though I felt a growing anger inside and a sense of frustration. Have you ever seen an interviewer like this ? Her face says it all. A fanatical woke woman so BBC. I cant stand her. She is a typical woke person that blights our society. Funny how a simple traditional view say from 10 -15 years ago today makes you seem like Satan himself.

It is a war. They make it that way and they have started all this malarky and are infiltrating all areas in a holier than thou way.

A tale of two cottages

 Booking our holiday accommodation has not been a smooth process. In fact its been convuluted. I discovered a few days before we set off that the house was right beside a busy road. I panicked and booked another more suitable one which was a stroke of luck on a bank holiday during school half term. So I had paid for 2 houses. Oh,dear.

Having a " spare " house I asked some relations if they fancied a cheap getaway as I would only charge them half price to get some money back on what would over wise be a waste. They said yes. Result then ?

Unfortunately we got a phone call on the evening they arrived to say the house was filthy, dust everywhere, dog hairs in the beds and covers and what looked like a human muck stain on the sheets...Urgh! Anyway they came to ours for the night and we messaged the owner telling them exactly what state the house was in. They replied a cleaner had just been in, and accused someone of sleeping in  the beds after they were " cleaned ".

The moral of this is that I must check any holiday accommodation location on Google earth, and be aware that photos in promotional material may not be recent at all.

This has not spoiled the holiday. Its added a bit of drama and amusement. We are asking for a 50% refund as a total one was rejected. Im not holding my breath.

 Visited a castle today with my cousin. A girl came over and asked him to undo a bottle cap as it was too tight. I just laughed and said " Your gender stereo typing " She replied " I didnt want to do this " with a sheepish look on her face. The girl she was with grimaced as she rubbed her face uncomfortably. Crop circles seem to have gone out of vogue in the media nowadays because of modern cynicism and the safe assumption that they are all created by hoaxers. Many no doubt are, but there are facts here that are impossible to fake such as radiation damage to corn stalks ect.

What really hit me most though were the claims at the end of the post that the CIA infiltrate people and get well known influences to corrupt their messages occasionally to muddy the waters. To what level is this going on ? 

How can I title this ?

Well the tide has finally reached the  " olde grey towne " of Kendal. A hiking type of gay pride festival is taking place. A parade down the main street will take place on the 26th of July is followed by walking and hiking events. So if being up a mountain is your thing watch out for these people. You will probably spot them a mile off. 

The outside world is seeping in and bringing nothing good. 

This has me wondering

 My therapist is nervous when I visit. He cracks his fingers, and yesterday I told him to stop quite abruptly but in a nice way. I dont tolerate this habit. My wife does it, my daughter sometimes, and a few friends often. Even the primary school head master does it and I will tell him to stop it one day. I will not keep quiet about it. Its a stupid pointless habit.

Why is he so ill at ease ? Another person I know who sees him says he has not seen him do this once. So whats  making him so uneasy about me ? 

I had the thought to sit for an hour in one session and say nothing. In doing so I might reveal a lot in just the expressions that would be exchanged between us. The idea is intoxicating because of it absoluteness.

The times they are a changing ?

Just take a minute to look at this picture ive copied from my banks website. The woman is in charge here while the man holds the child. She looks " cooky " with a rather severe bob hair cut that matches her practical dress sense. The man looks on and he's just going with the flow. He has other things on his mind... Despite holding the child he has stereo type mescaline traits that seem comical. The glasses and beard look like those disguises you could buy as a child.

My bank is scared stiff of portraying traditional gender stereotypes, but resorts to the modern reversal in a hysterical way. The trouble is everyone shakes their head and laughs at such things so why go ahead and do it ? 

Companies choose these images carefully to appeal. I find them very useful to gauge what these times are aiming for, or what is deemed as a goal or " normal ".

Its simply happening right now. Its actually happening.

 The nearest city hospital is seeing a spate of heart attacks. So much so it is affecting ER waiting times which are averaging 8 hours or if " another " cardiac arrest comes in nearer to 10 hours. Living a sheltered back water I have been waiting to see the evidence for a while. Of course you wont hear it on the news, just through first hand anecdotes from the man on the street.

In a funny mood

The horrific is deemed normal. One day this will sort itself out, but social war will be the cost. At what point do you consider force ? You dont ? Well what would it take ? Its OK to change a childs sex and it encouraged and held aloft, but a trafficked child is a disaster ? What a perverted moral sense modern man has. The perverted has become an ideal and every distortion worshipped or worse has the main stream shitting its pants rather than speaking up. Or I could just say fuck'em all and they get what they deserve. I am coming dangerously close to a " Satanist " out look where people are responsible for their own shit and I hold no view on it. Is this the only sustainable way ahead in this world ?
