Tonight as I sat in our kitchen just listening to the various taps and cracks that often seem to increase with a waxing moon I realised that every single supernatural happening, well 99% of what happens in this house has occurred in our kitchen oddly. Moving objects, cracking strip lights ( even when turned off for hours ) and strange flapping noises at the window and that eerily cold corner at the breakfast bar that often manifests in a heat wave. All occur in the kitchen. Why the kitchen though ?
Our living room has an ancient dark oak ceiling. It might be 18th century or older even. This room has a dour atmosphere but ive never seen anything odd happen there despite this. Anyone visiting the house would immediately say thats the spooky room. As children we would perform little plays in it and bizarrely my daughter and her cousin do the same thing. Im finding myself spending more time here listening to the hifi or on my laptop at night. When I was ill I felt the room was a comfort to me. When Im stressed I find a sense of balance in it.
Maybe the kitchen being the main hub of the house attracts all the energy ? After all if you were a spirit you wouldnt hang out in an empty room would you ?
Everything seems to be going bananas lately I've been noticing weird sounds in my bathroom, as if someone is in there with me. So strange.
ReplyDeleteCould be water related. I went through a phase where water would gurn loudly in plumbing pipes. It happened everywhere I went.
