So things havent quite gone to plan health wise for me. On finishing my first prescription of Diazepam last week my head aches and hearing had improved, but not quite back to normal. After 3 days I felt worse again and have acquired a second course. Is my hearing being affected by purely stress then ? It would appear so as the pills improved it somewhat, but Im not totally convinced so have booked a private health inspection at an ear/ nose /throat specialist in a weeks time. These last 2 weeks have been miserable for me. Anxiety waking at night panicking and bad tinitis through out. I still have low level sinus pain and the medication making me very tired. In only 2 weeks I cant remember what it feels like to feel normal. Tonight I can once again watch tv with the sound on low and once again im jumpy at sudden noises of which there are many in this house. Everyday I wake up to this routine of anxiety and discomfort in my head. Im 2 days into my second week of pills and the doctor thinks by the end of it my hearing will be healed 100%. I find that hard to believe. Every noise jars my ears in this house though the pills seem to ease this a little.
After I supposedly caught the virus from a friend, I had head pressure, ear ringing, and panic attacks for almost three months. I still get the head pressure and ear ringing under stress (very mild now) or when I am exposed to others. I am improving though. I didn't get this yesterday when I went out, but I am wearing an n95 mask. I also had the sinus issues. I would ask them if it could be mild brain inflammation. I think that is what I had. It takes months to go away. I am telling you my symptoms as I think it might be related to "long c 0 v i d" if such a thing exists. I am taking TONS of vitamins and drinking dandelion tea every single day. I hope you get better but I will be honest with you that the ear ringing may not go away 100%. It should lessen, but it may not go away for a long time. I am still dealing with that as well. Take care and get well soon.
ReplyDeleteIve always had tinitus to some extent so it does really bother me at night if I leave music on. The sensitive hearing has improved quite a bit on the 2nd pills but they run out soon. Visiting ear specialist next week. Should be very interesting. Is it all a mental issue ? Hmmmmm....
DeleteMeant to say " doesnt " really bother me. Im making typo's now.
DeleteI had the jumpiness as noises as well and I still get it whenever I get the head pressure and ear ringing. I believe it is some aftereffect of the virus and also I get it when exposed to people who are freshly vaxxed because they are spreading spike proteins.
ReplyDeleteIm a bit worried about the anti anxiety pills running out next week. Its been hard working some days and we are starting the busy lambing season, so I shall need something if my sinuses havent healed by then. I think I have a major sinus defect though. Looking online its amazing what they can do nowadays.
DeleteTypo! Ugh. I meant to write that I get the jumpiness at the noises too.
