Telling the truth, but not locally !

 Im in a very strange mood tonight. Ive been discussing my views on local houses and their faults online that are so common here. Doing this on a local community forum was a mistake. If you say one bad thing about this area then local people assume automatically that you hate the area. They are so dumb and narrow minded that its unbelievable. They cant appreciate what a spectrum of views is. 

It all started when someone posted about moving to this area to retire. They asked what it was like as they wanted to buy a house here. And here the trouble starts as the house is a whole financial outlook and a life style purchase, so to call these houses into question is like calling their judgement into question. They are so naive. 

Its a house of cards that everyone buys into. Builders repair them undertaking huge projects. Banks love to lend money over a lifetime to buy them ect. Culturally an English mans home is his castle ( unless its subsiding ) lol. Challenge these things at your peril. The truth will gain you no friends.

People who move here project a rose tinted view of the whole valley. Well you,ve only been here a few years and at the first sign of trouble you will lie and sell your money pit to some poor unsuspecting person. Its dog eat dog.

A local builder who posted that I had no respect for the area tried to sell his house to my parents. Turned out his kitchen was not up to modern regulations. He backed out first though. So he knows where " all the bodies are buried " so to speak. It takes one to know one. Its a taboo subject all this skulduggery and deception.
