No doubt you have heard of this controversial guy who has been hounded off various platforms. His words seem very wise here though, and I can see why he gets so much abuse. People are literally scared to say these things, but when you have money you can say what the hell you want !?
I haven't heard of him, but according to The Guardian, "Andrew Tate says women belong in the home, can’t drive, and are a man’s property."
ReplyDeleteAlso, "talks about hitting and choking women, trashing their belongings and stopping them from going out. “It’s bang out the machete, boom in her face and grip her by the neck. Shut up bitch,” he says in one video, acting out how he’d attack a woman if she accused him of cheating" (Guardian).
Sounds like a real winner to me, lol.
Only heard a few minutes of his views, so I cant comment on that !
DeleteI often wonder how we would look if the views we express were exposed in the same way those of the famous are ? Would we be become unacceptable ? Would the things we say off hand be blown up out of context ?
DeleteI think we have to make a general judgment in the end ignoring the more extreme things people say or the sensational and decide if they are generally OK. Alex Jones has got into trouble about Sand Hook. but generally he seems right about other subjects. The media cannot grasp that.
I think if people saw my blog, they would assume I'm not either conservative nor liberal, which is what almost everything is political. They would hate me for my anti-vaxx stance though, otherwise, they would probably ignore me because my blog is boring to them, and everything I write about or say is boring.
DeleteI would never be famous, trust me. No one even reads my gothic stories because, as I've been told, they don't have enough "action" in them. I should have been born in the late 1890's-1900's.
Alex Jones on the other hand, he should know better than to say some of the things he has said. At times it seems as if he has no self-control. He seems like an ok guy otherwise, but I know for a fact that neither you nor I would act the way he does in private. I cannot see you, as one example, acting that way. I think we would come across as more sensible. I would hope anyhow.
Sorry about my convoluted first sentence, I don't even know how it turned out that way.
DeleteMeant to say "in public" in my third paragraph. Again, sorry, not sure why I can't write tonight.
DeleteThanks. My phone is ideal for that.
