That London...I found this quite alarming, but not as alarming as the Paris Olympic opening ceremony which has know been taken off You Tube. 

Whats bothering me at the moment

 Ive made some stupid mistakes recently. Some potentially embarrassing ones that I quickly rectified in time, and some not. When a pattern emerges like this it is very hard to break it as one mistake unsettles you and lines you up for another, as does the shock of suddenly discovering you've messed up somehow initially. Once, twice and a third time ahead ? Sometimes you even wonder if its all out of your control like a synchronicity chain. Is it happening anyway however hard you try ? I know that can happen and it scares me.

 Always listen to that little voice inside your head. I never learn.

I know the feeling. 

A swing to the right

 So I came home to find my Sister was visiting for a few days. On chatting to her the subject of immigration came up and I was surprised to hear her views have now swung to the right. Its funny how suddenly losing her financial security has brought this about. I told her she used to be a " champagne socialist ". She saw the funny side for once.

I also called in at the hotel I was told now housed immigrants ect. I saw no sign of anything.

You are not a true Scot unless you have several rusty knackered Audis or Volkswagons outside your house. It seems a badge of honor and there is no shame in it. In England it would be classed as an eye sore, but here its quite normal.
