I must first admit that I quite like this advert on the surface, but look a little deeper and it is yet another Money Supermarket add that mocks the trait of the masculine...again...sigh. And again you can see the hand of the modern advertiser making pushing Gay values.

  First of all this advert is the reworking of a scene from an iconic films dance scene between a man and a woman, but they cant resist showing two male lead characters embracing to dance and shots of dismay on the faces of people in the bar. These people quickly shake of their initial shock and even join in the dance. This is saying that if you find a problem with two men dancing then you must be a backward as the red necks who are frequenting the bar....and who wants to acquainted with that ?

  The very clever part though is the use of cartoon heros that people in their 40's will instantly recognize from their childhood and immediately relate to. That's a dirty trick. Its a devious episode in adverts at the moment. If you look below the initial appearance the subtext is attacking the masculine or mocking. They revel in this. Open your eyes you are being brain washed softly.

Today I speared a Rat with a muck fork and later braked hard to avoid a Hare in the road. This is balance. People expect balance to be only made up of acts that are morally palatable to them, where as the truth is that true balance is messy.

Well Dion Fortune certainly thought so, and I'm believing it is so, the more of life I see. This weekend I rode on a wagon along side the driver. I asked him if he had constant close shaves on the road as I find I do just driving my car, such is the dim standard of general driving nowadays....He surprised me by saying that he used to until he fitted a dash cam. But as other drivers could not see this small hidden camera I wondered why all of a sudden after fitting it he'd found the close shaves had ceased.  My synical side  says maybe he drove better once it was fitted and all the incidents had been caused by his past lax driving...lol A bit unlikely. Sometimes the very act of taking action can remedy a situation, even though the explanation of the results is illogical and may unexpected. I guess we call them spin offs and these are truly great leaps forward that can not be planned.

We often get caught up in the obsession of whether a happening is a genuine other worldy phenomena. We find our selves boxing in our judgements as true or false, period ! The true circumstances will be seen for what they truly are, despite some steps along the way to a conclusion having perfectly logical ,explainable explanations. When a symptom happens both in an explainable event, and an unexplainable event, then a true picture is revealed. Some falsehoods in the mix do not alter the truth if they align neatly. Its as though the mundane imitates the supernatural or is it vice versa ? Is this the perfect manifestation ( I like that word ) of TRUTH ?

Yes, yes...that is how it felt. As the words tumble from my radio by chance as I awoke in the night...the ramblings of an unknown woman from her journal dated 1956 March and the years surrounding then. A heady feeling hearing an accurate portrayal of what I struggled to say in the past on this blog. When a whole new existence and life is created while the old vein continued...somewhere, to be felt but not lived...yet...but has been well returned to today. I haven't written like this for sometime. See how my sentences are convoluted, The old me...awaken by a piece of unknown literature in the dead of night. Solar or Lunar ?

A strange week of electrical incidents. Electric shearing unit blew up with a bang in my hands. My rechargeable drill has switched its self on twice this week as I entered my shed. My internet has deleted my blog stats for a while and the CD player has speed up with being forward winded. Strip lights have made cracking noises. I'm thinking maybe a solar flare is to blame, or maybe the moon being larger than normal right now ? Its all rather weird.

I have over time observed that the cracking and popping noises that have plagued this house for nearly 2 years stop completely when I spend a weekend alone here. They are obviously caused by someone else in this family. This opens up some dark questions...

I have lived next door to Whernside Manor all my life and I am well aware of its folklore and legends which this link touches on. I also could tell you stories of haunted happenings that seem to have been part of the Wuthering Heights novel. This is all by the by as they say as what I really want to tell you is the fact that I stumbled upon this web page by mistake today. So whats so odd about this ?
   Now last night while driving home in the dark I saw a strange looking bird sat in the middle of the road. It was unlike any ive seen before as in it had a white breast and almost appeared to be marked with colours or the pattern of a Penguin I thought. Today I see with alarm that the author of the above piece has such an identical bird sat in her profile photo. Taxidermy is one of her hobbies it seems. I find this fact beyond coincidence and quite disturbing. I cannot explain this. A mind blowing synchronicty.

This surreal comedy piece contained in the new series of Twin Peaks is  strictly tongue in cheek but still captures the spirit of rage that todays world evokes in many. In fact I see myself a little here too.

They wallow in suffering....

A new picture is just emerging. For quite a while now the media have been in love with showing people taking on huge physical feats such as running multiple marathons back to back or other stupid extremes of exercise. These people are held up as examples to us all. They are presented as absolutes or even gods at the pinnacle on human evolution. Or do the media love the idea they are suffering ? Why would I say that ?

The second thing the media are in love with is illness. They revel in reporting anothers disease or terminal condition. It is reported again and again in a god like manner and in an absolute of positiveness oddly. Again a person in turmoil is presented as the ideal and let no man utter anything to the contrary. Just today there was a news report ( and when was this news ? ) that a man was having his 100th radiation session. It was reported in the same way as a man running a 100 marathons in a 100 days would have been presented.

The common denominator here is suffering. The ideal. The reason giver. The beacon we must all dance around. The media are a pleasantly smiling physco sugar coating our suffering. I find it hard to believe they do this unawares and I can accept the first idea is " inspirational " maybe, but they have strayed into spreading this outlook to those with medical problems . And are these people inspirational ? Well not to the majority who are reasonably healthy.....

Her enthusiasm quickly waned as she saw how her patients viewed her, especially the older male ones. I shall say no more here.... Ideals rarely translate into satisfaction. Today I found a dog called Lucifer buried in a woodland pet cemetery. Where was this bizarre place ? Why a Buddhist garden of course. Don't you just hate it when that happens ? lol

Lights in the Sky

Do you ever feel after writing down in cold print your experiences, that you are in fact becoming a joke ? Only last week I saw two strange lights in the sky. Again I shall tell it exactly how it was however ridiculas it may sound. Around 10pm as it was coming in dark I noticed 2 lights hovering very high in the sky, in fact I would say they were at the height that Airliners fly at. Each light consisted of 4 single lights joined up. The length of each chain of lights at the height they were meant they must have been very large. The lights did not flash so they were not an aeroplane, nor were they coloured in anyway. A sudden flash of a sickle shadow appeared for a second too and it was simply huge. I thought maybe they might be Chinese lanterns, but these things were huge and were so high. On getting into bed a gust of wind blew my window open and blinds about and a cupboard door open ! I had to laugh as the whole event seemed to be a parody of the X- Files. Joking aside the whole episode leaves me with  a strange feeling.

Of Fairys and Flowers ?

I  have recently returned from a holiday in Tintagel, Cornwall. Despite having visited this mystical centre several times over the last few years I managed this time to stumble across something new to me and totally unexpected. During my last few visits I got the urge to walk down a foot path that was situated in a dark wooded section of road that leads to nearby Boscastle. Poor weather had prevented me from
 exploring this path other years, but I made a special effort to walk it this year.
   After a few minutes walk down a wooded ravine I came to a rather dark dank water mill ruin that had a fairy offering site nearby. Many people had tied ribbons and the like to a bush and left the names of deceased friends and family along with money offerings on a tiny alter. Despite the rather dirty muddy surroundings I smelt a strong sweet smell of flowers, but didn't think too much of it. Interestingly on a nearby rock face there were what are thought to be Bronze Age carvings...My daughter left some money on a fairy alter to ,which had gone the next day.... but I think a more worldly explanation may be due for that ! ?
   Now what really surprised me happened the next day, and totally caught me off guard. As I walked down Tintagel high street a random elderly couple suddenly stopped me and asked where the strong smell of flowers was coming from ? They said it appeared as I walked past them and wanted to know why ? They were totally forth right in suggesting it was emanating from me ! I tried to laugh it off but they were persistent in blaming me for the smell. I was rather bemused at the time and gradually a little more convinced when I remembered what someone had told me before I set off from home...
   Now you my think this story is nothing more than coincidence....but before I left home to go on holiday someone had a visit from a Psychic who suggested her house smelled of flowers despite her having none. She remarked on this too me before I set off on holiday. Add this fact to what happened to me in Tintagel and I don't think anyone can deny that something odd is happening here.  I'm not saying I believe in faery's but there is a supernatural connection going on here and even the most ardent sceptic must admit this is at least a bizarre chain of events ?

Negative Energy ?

Having spent a day working alongside a local road I had the chance to notice that all the cars that passed  by on this single track road sounded the same. All the exhaust notes sounded the same as in they all sounded noisy, like cars used to be. It mattered not if they were new or old, they all sounded rough as they passed by. This eventually filled me with unease, which turned to alarm as the Land Rover I was driving started to splutter as I passed along this stretch of road once I had finished my job. What was affecting the running of all these vehicles including my own ? Once I passed this short stretch of road my Land Drover returned to running correctly.
  There have been some strange events on this 50 meters of road in the last year. A landslide occurred last Winter and last Summer my runaway Quad bike nearly killed me if I had not jumped out of its path as it ran down a steep banking. The handbrake  had jumped off, and I heard the click which gave me some  advance warning, if only a few seconds. Oddly when ive parked the Quad bike in this location it often used to stall and would not start again. I now see how this could be connected to previous events.
 Prehaps the most bizarre event was a tree that fell across the road on a still hot summers day last year blocking the path of some mourners to a funeral. I was in the field at the time and helped to clear it. There have been some very strange events on this short stretch of road. Something is amiss here. What is corrupting engines here ? Is this location on a leyline ?

It does seem that each year that passes becomes darker and more complex....

Even by my standards the amount of water trouble ive had this week is staggering. There have been 9 instances of faults resulting in our private stream fed water supply failing. Tonight the shower has stuck on wasting water we don't have and even on turning off the main stop tap I see it has leaked a little. Tomorrow a man will blow his top and will get a taste of his own medicine after he has repeatedly diverted our water...the beat goes on...

Sucubus ?

Ive got to admit that since Christmas I have felt exhausted. Its nothing new as Winter days have always affect me this way, but this year was different somehow. I actually said to people that I felt like I was dying inside both mentally and physically. As I was really starting to worry and think about going to see a doctor I had the most disturbing " dream ".
   Basically I felt a smothering evil entity gradually pin me down in my bed in the dream. The weight would not let me move and I was filled with panic. I have dreamt of this before, though very rarely so ive never given it much thought. My instinct said to remain still however unpleasant this felt. I managed this for a few seconds before struggling violently and shaking the said entity off. But when it suddenly formed into a person I know well, I was very alarmed, even though said person told me in the dream that they were helping me fight the force..... Mmmmm......?
  Next night I remembered a visual ritual that I had read about that protects a person as they sleep and I must admit after running through it in my head I awoke next morning feeling so much better and have continued to do so. Now the interesting part is said person suddenly appeared exhausted in real life. I'm not sure what this all means but the crux of the story is I'm feeling much better. While googling " Sucubus " I came across this familiar picture which is purely coincidental, but today I'm finding it quite amusing....

Photo or portal ?

This is the second digital photo which I have taken where something has appeared on it at a later date. Note the green / pink lights and spectrum of colours that are to the right of the tree. Even the vague images that are contained in them if you zoom in extremely have moved sideways from their original position. Why are digital images so corruptible ?

Matt Damon seems to have jumped on the band wagon of celebreties who feel the need to enhance their own kudos by supporting a worthy cause. I wish they would just stick to acting and maybe improve  the " block buster 2 films they star in instead. I mean he even keeps a straight face here... Truth be told the film industry has nothing new to say and is in decline long term. I guess like all people in the public eye they know how to re-invent themselves ?

Irish Rebellion

Today I attended my neighbours funeral. It was an emotional affair. As the coffin finally left the Church an unusual choice of music was played. The bawdy Irish folk song The Wild Rover. As the congregation sang along to the lyrics printed on the order of service I raised my eyebrows alright. With references to wild times and drinking it clashed with the previous atmosphere of a Church funeral. In fact it was sung with a hint of aggression, defience and rebellion against the sad death of the deceased. I don't think I will hear the likes of it again. I am not normally a fan of traditional Irish music but it felt like sticking two fingers up at our own mortality. Very human - not at all spiritual. Maybe this is a side we need to express more at times of grief or public ceremonies ? A life cannot be reduced to a pious Church service can it ?
