Summer

There comes a time in Summer , usualy , no always come to think of it at the end of June  when  the trees are always full and in their prime and the shadows they cast are mellow in the twilight haze . The orange haze cast by the sun shines directly up the dale during an evening  flooding all in a dream like light  This phase only lasts about a week before summer changes its mood slightly .
 Its time to harvest the grass . The fields suddenly accelerate the growth rate of the grass dramatically because of the long days . A blast of energy you can see . As a Farmer this never ceases to amaze / excite me . Its incredible to see . Natures in overdrive and reached its peak . Now the shadows at night will start to lengthen under the trees as a season never stays still for long . Working with nature means you intimately see the minute changes in a season others will never notice

Sideways weekend

A strange still night . A super sized moon is below the horizon out of sight but the sky is over cast with heavy grey clouds with the occasional break revealing beautiful pale blue twilight sky . Its very still . Its cool . Its very  quiet . Its uneasy . Ive had a quiet weekend waxing my car as I haven't done for a year . A full moon has affected my weekend in a warped way that is just plain odd . Yes im a bit bamboozled but when you know your own mental pitfalls you can dismiss your anxiety's and rise to your higher self and ignore their pathetic attempts to pull you in the mire.... be strong , keep the faith......

Radio 4 does it again !

Once again Radio 4 has entertained me with a piece about a woman Minister/ Psychiatrist  . She presented the idea that sometimes people with a mental problem such as anxiety or depression maybe better off not just being presented with the automatic medication as their experience maybe part of a period of development in their character or even a spiritual path to awakening of their true selves .
 Her next idea was how many people thought to be showing signs of the phsycosis  are actually having a spiritual experience and should not be given medication . A fascinating idea though but where are the lines  to be  drawn between the physcotic and the spiritual....  Is God speaking to you or are you having a breakdown ? I mean this as no insult and apply this idea to myself also . Interesting food for thought.....

A full circle reveals the truth.....

I heard on Radio 4 this morning of  the Summer Solstice  , that the Anglican Church is embracing  the ideas of spirituality which are less mainstream than their own such as Pagan or Wicca . This is because their own very narrow interpretation of God is failing to fill the pews today.  Not the first time this has been done .  The festival of Christmas and Easter were made to overlap pagan festivals to boost the Churches popularity . Wow how  amazing to see it happening again ! I like the idea but WHO is the likely WINNER in the final out come will be hard to call !!!

How I see it , perhaps

Learnt a lot about Tintagel and Boscastle but how Merlins sea cave works I am unsure . Its mythical prowess helps or being associated with the legend of King Arthur will bring sympathetic workings as do great legends or characters loved ove manyr generations.... . A very intense place. A sleeping giant ?  The equivalent of an esoteric cathedral power house . Big things take time to build up speed but when they do they have huge momentum . As kitch as a wishing well , as potent as a Church .
 Sat on my back doorstep watching the halfmoon on a summers night . Heavan...

I am very brave or stupid writing this blog . Not many people I know read it regular . Those who do get the real deal on a very unusual stage of my life . I recommend a good trawl back in my posts . Maybe someone else has had similar experiences ? Early entries are a bit cryptic . Sorry but the details werent so important as emotion of the moments  back then . I need a like minded person at the moment.....
